Zeke has it all! He has all the fancy buttons, cutest expression, quiet personality, laid back attitude and possess a been there done that mentality.  He has a “yes ma’am, yes sir” attitude and never questions any obstacle. He has been extensively ridden out on the trails of all terrain and has been used recently as a step up horse for a small kiddo.

He was bred and raised by Jay Novachek and has had 6 months of cutting horse training. Zeke has been lightly shown by a youth rider in cutting/ ranch versatility events as a young horse, but recently has been tasked with doing ranch work & teaching kids how to ride. He is forgiving and patient and is never in a hurry to get anywhere.

He rides soft in the bridle, has a punchy stop on “whoa”, and has a nice turn around. Zeke will work a gate, side pass, back through obstacles, you name it – he can do it. Rides on a loose rein or will collect up in the bridle.  Zeke has three incredible gaits that are comfortable and fun to ride. The time and training has been put into this fabulous gelding and he really is quite exceptional!  Zeke has a kind personality and has the cutest expression with very soft eyes.

Zeke has been pasture roped off of, will drag logs, and will go anywhere you point him to. He is not bothered by wild turkeys, deer, cattle, tarps, nor tractors. Zeke turns our well with other horses and is very easy to catch out in the pasture. He stands like a gentleman for the farrier and to be saddled.

When we aren’t showing off his fancy skills by riding him bridleless, he will also ride in a D ring or a correction bit (or anything hanging in the tack room). Zeke has no bad habits and I have not found a mean bone in his body. He can sit for a year and will come back the same horse everytime. UTD on vaccines, teeth were floated in August, feet were trimmed this month, and he has a current coggins. No current maintenance and he is sound in every way. This gelding is ready to go!

I could really see this gelding going back in the show pen either ranch horse versatility, working cow horse, or even western dressage. He is a cute mover and has all the buttons. I could also see him continuing his fat and happy life being a child’s horse. He has had TWO owners his entire life, his current owner’s kids have lost interest in horses and that is the only reason for his sale.
