Gunner is a one in a million large pony packed with style, brains, personality, and versatility. You won’t find very many ponies out there with the conformation, and chrome this guys sports.
I am quite excited and proud to have this gorgeous gelding in my barn, and have had a blast riding him, and it reflects in his video. Everywhere he goes, he always turns heads, and really has that “wow” factor. If you’re trying to get noticed, this Colonel Smoking Gun look alike is the guy for you!
Gunner comes with all the chrome, but he isn’t just a pretty face. He has tons of talent, class, and personality!

Gunner rides like a reiner, is naturally low headed and is a smooth operator! He is has a nice started turn around, wants to STOP, and is an easy going push style kind of guy. He’s been worked in your basic snaffle, as well as a one handed port bit too. Gunner is small enough for a young kid to show off, as well as just big enough for an adult to comfortably ride too!
Gunner has been started over fences. He is expressive, round, and intelligently scopey over fences. Naturally very balanced, underneath himself, and well cadenced. Excellent hunter pony prospect, and would fit well into a lesson string as well.
Gunner is well behaved out on field trips, and has a ‘can do’ like attitude! Hops right in the trailer and is ready for any task at hand. He is the perfect size to hop on and check fences out in the pasture, and is definitely sure footed enough to go down the roughest terrain. He crosses water, walks over bridges, has been exposed to tarps/umbrellas/flags/4 wheelers, cattle, dogs, tractors etc – we have not found a single thing to faze this guy.
He does not make a single peep when rode off property, and cruises over any and all obstacles. With his calm, cool, and collected demeanor, this gelding can do it all.
This guy has the talent to go any direction you choose. He’d make a jam up heel pony, finish him out as a reiner, hunter pony deluxe, family horse, cow pony, trick/stunt rider, pony club! This gelding is sound, sane, and ready for any job you might have. This gelding has not made a wrong step and is super personable.
Mr. Handsome stands barefoot (GREAT feet), has a current coggins, and is happy inside or out but is currently barn kept (sleek and shiny). This guy is everything and then some, come check him out before he’s gone!
